gadmin-samba software package provides GTK+ configuration tool for samba, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gadmin-samba
gadmin-samba is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gadmin-samba package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gadmin-samba *
You will get with gadmin-samba package name, version, architecture and description in a table
